Organizer Guide

Everything organizers need to create, promote and manage events on KhoreoNet.

Getting started

Create an organizer account, verify your email and complete your profile. Provide organization details, bank/GST info and a contact person to enable payouts and event verification.

  • Sign up and choose "Organizer" role in your account.
  • Complete KYC / verification if required for payouts.
  • Set up your payout bank details and tax information in settings.

Create an event

Use the event creation form to add title, description, venue, date & time, event image and terms. Clear, accurate details reduce buyer disputes.

  • Choose event type: in-person, online or hybrid.
  • Set timezone correctly and verify schedule before publishing.
  • Upload high-quality hero image and add accessibility notes if available.
  • Provide contact info and event-specific refund policy shown at checkout.

Ticket setup

Create ticket types, control quantity, pricing tiers and special tickets (VIP, early-bird, promo codes).

  • Set capacity limits and per-order limits to prevent overselling.
  • Use start/end sales dates to automate availability.
  • Configure attendee info and custom form fields to collect required data at checkout.
  • Test checkout flow (use test mode) before going live.

Pricing & platform fees

Display clear pricing including taxes, platform/service fees and any per-ticket charges. KhoreoNet shows fees at checkout so buyers see a final total.

  • Decide whether to include service fees in ticket price or show them separately.
  • Taxes: configure tax collection if applicable for your region.
  • Refund policy and fee refund rules should be clearly displayed.

Payments & payouts

Ensure payout details are accurate. Payout timing depends on payment provider settlement rules and platform schedules.

  • Provide accurate bank account and tax/GST details for payouts.
  • Review settlement timing and expected hold periods for new organizers.
  • Monitor payout dashboard and reconcile with your bank statements.

Attendee data & privacy

Organizers receive attendee names, contact details and any custom form responses required to run the event. Handle this data responsibly and follow applicable privacy laws.

  • Only request data necessary for the event (avoid asking for sensitive data unless required).
  • Use attendee data only for event delivery and communications as permitted by your privacy policy.
  • Refer to the platform Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy.

Refunds & cancellations

Publish a clear refund & cancellation policy on the event page. If you cancel or reschedule, communicate promptly and process refunds per your policy.

See platform guidance: Refund Policy.

Promotion & analytics

Use built-in analytics and promo tools to maximize attendance.

  • Use promo codes and early-bird pricing to drive early sales.
  • Share event URL across social and email — use UTM tags to track sources.
  • Monitor dashboard metrics: ticket sales, conversion rate, attendee demographics.
